Job summary

Wellis is expanding into Germany with a brand-new, mostly commercial role focused on go-to-market, growth and expansion. You will own the German growth end-to-end, scale the live funnel, and shape the German market alongside the CEO and leadership team.

You’ll build dedicated German roles as volume grows, keeping the team lean and high-impact while collaborating with shared services across the Netherlands. You’ll report to the CEO, own numbers, and set quarterly targets with clear business

Qualifications

• Track record leading GTM, expansion or growth initiatives in a scale-up or startup.
• Proven understanding of the German market, with direct-to-consumer health, e-commerce or digital healthcare experience a plus.
• Strong ability to bring people along with numbers, energy and relationships, and to own decisions.
• Demonstrated ownership: treat revenue as your own and share progress proactively.
• Experience in scale-up or start-up environments.
• Demonstrates an AI-first approach to execution and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the German revenue plan, media budget, and scale the live German funnel across channels and propositions.
• Know the German market landscape deeply and bring competitive insights to leadership.
• Make weekly decisions on where to double down or stop, backed by unit economics.
• Design and hire the German team as volume grows, keeping structure lean and senior.
• Align Germany with product, data, care, pharmacy and finance roadmaps with a clear business case.
• Build processes to give the company a weekly view of Germany and maintain German-specific exceptions where needed.
• Apply AI to workflows and automate repetitive tasks before adding headcount.
