Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands is seeking a Head of Operations for a growing multi-branch restaurant business.

You will lead Area Managers and Branch Managers, drive profitability, and implement scalable dashboards, processes, and routines. Responsibilities include owning pricing and promotions, budgets and forecasts, optimizing the online customer journey, and turning operational challenges into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in operations or business management leading multi-location food-service.
• Proven experience managing managers and driving performance.
• Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, costs, and unit economics.
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards, Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance across multiple restaurant branches through Area Managers, Branch Managers, and shift leaders.
• Establish operating standards, decision rights, and weekly management routines.
• Improve visibility into service, delivery, costs, margins, and unit economics.
• Coach managers to own their areas and reduce escalations.
• Own online customer journey from discovery to retention.
• Develop pricing, promotions, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability by reducing leakage and bottlenecks.
• Turn opportunities into practical operating plans and pilots.
• Build relationships with merchants, partners, and service providers.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development as the business expands.
• Use AI tools, dashboards, and digital workflows to improve processes.
• Translate business problems into requirements for tech teams and validate results.
• Establish a strong first-90-day operating foundation and roadmap for growth.
