Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group is offering a Web Development Intern position at our Corporate Office Amsterdam Sloterdijk. You will gain hands-on experience in website management, digital marketing, and online performance optimisation while working with our Digital and Web Development teams across our hotels, restaurants, and brands.

Ideal candidates are studying Digital Marketing or related fields and have a passion for analytics, content management, and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a related degree program.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months.
• Interest in digital marketing, websites, e-commerce, or online customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support website performance analysis and UX improvements.
• Assist with website content updates across brands.
• Monitor dashboards and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with testing and QA activities.
• Collaborate with external agencies using project tools like Asana.
• Gain experience with Google Analytics, GA4, GTM and Adobe Analytics.
• Learn how large-scale hospitality websites are managed.
• Support day-to-day digital marketing projects.

As a Web Development Intern based at our Corporate Office Amsterdam Sloterdijk, you will gain hands‑on experience in website management, digital marketing, and online performance optimisation. Working closely with our Digital and Web Development teams, you will support website projects across our hotels, restaurants, and brands while developing valuable skills in analytics, user experience, content management, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of website performance, user experience, and online engagement
• Assist with website content updates across multiple brands and hotel websites
• Monitor website dashboards and highlight opportunities for improvement
• Support the creation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Assist with website testing and quality assurance activities
• Work with external digital agencies and support project coordination using tools such as Asana
• Support digital projects that enhance website performance and the guest journey
• Learn how large-scale hospitality websites are managed and maintained
• Assist with monitoring website analytics and translating data into actionable insights
• Gain experience with digital tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics
• Support the Digital team with ongoing projects and day‑to‑day activities
• Studying Digital Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, IT, e-commerce, or a related field
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months
• Interested in digital marketing, websites, e-commerce, or online customer experiences
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and systems
• Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Comfortable working in an international team environment

Preferred Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics, or content management systems is an advantage
• Experience with digital, website, or marketing projects through studies, extracurricular activities, or personal interests
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn
