PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a Groups, Meetings & Events Intern in the Netherlands to support proposals, qualify inquiries, and learn how exceptional service drives group and event success across multiple properties.

This full-time internship lasts 5 to 10 months, with a start in August 2026 and up to 38 hours per week while you remain enrolled at university. You will gain exposure to sales and operations through hands-on planning and coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently graduated in hospitality or a related bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Strong administrative and coordination skills.
• Full-time internship up to 38 hours/week for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, group stays and events.
• Support the team with daily admin tasks and client communications.
• Manage event enquiries, proposals and follow-ups.
• Liaise with operations to ensure successful event execution.
• Maintain records and update booking/event systems.
• Contribute to a seamless, high-quality client experience.
• Support on-site event operations when required.
• Remain enrolled at university for the internship duration.

As a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern, you support the planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences. Your tasks include preparing proposals, updating systems, and assisting with event logistics while learning how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in August 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 10 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings, group stays, and events
• Support the team with daily administrative tasks and client communication
• Manage event enquiries and assist with proposals and follow-ups
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure successful event execution
• Support the coordination of group bookings and event details across departments
• Maintain accurate records and systems related to bookings and events
• Contribute to a seamless and high-quality client experience
• Support event operations on site when required
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree programme, preferably in hotel, hospitality, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
• Strong administrative and coordination skills
• Available for a full-time internship of up to 38 hours per week for at least 6 months
• You remain enrolled at your university for the full duration of the internship
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
