Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will assist in planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events, ensuring seamless execution. The position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and requires you to be proactive and organized.

The internship lasts 5 to 10 months starting in August 2026. You will receive a monthly allowance exceeding €550, with benefits including discounted hotel rates and meal options.

As a Groups, Meetings and Events Intern, you support the planning and coordination of group bookings, meetings, and events to ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences. Your tasks include preparing proposals, updating systems, and assisting with event logistics while learning how commercial decisions shape guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in August 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 10 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings, group stays, and events
• Support the team with daily administrative tasks and client communication
• Manage event enquiries and assist with proposals and follow-ups
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure successful event execution
• Support the coordination of group bookings and event details across departments
• Maintain accurate records and systems related to bookings and events
• Contribute to a seamless and high-quality client experience
• Support event operations on site when required

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree programme, preferably in hotel, hospitality, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
• Strong administrative and coordination skills
• Available for a full-time internship of up to 38 hours per week for at least 6 months
• You remain enrolled at your university for the full duration of the internship
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
