Job summary

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is seeking a Groups & Events Sales Executive to manage the complete sales journey for group, meetings and events business. You will qualify leads, tailor proposals, plan events and deliver exceptional client experiences.

You will collaborate with Operations, Revenue and Finance to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded, while representing the hotel at networking events and ensuring cross-selling opportunities across services.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in groups, meetings, events or hotel sales.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Proactive, commercially minded and target-oriented.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience with Opera, Delphi or another hotel sales system is an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle for groups, meetings, events and business groups.
• Qualify incoming leads by understanding client requirements, budget, objectives and decision-making process.
• Respond to enquiries promptly via telephone, email, online platforms and in person.
• Conduct hotel show rounds and site inspections, presenting rooms and services.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across bedrooms, meeting rooms, food & beverage and services.
• Negotiate with clients within the hotel’s commercial and operational strategy.
• Coordinate all event details from confirmation through to execution.
• Collaborate with Operations, Revenue, Finance and other departments to meet client expectations.
• Represent the hotel at networking events and client appointments.
• Share leads with Leisure Sales Executive and Corporate Sales Coordinator.
