Job summary

Glass Lewis seeks a Vice President of Client Policy to lead the global policy function from Amsterdam. You will manage a team of policy professionals, shape client proxy voting policy design, and collaborate with Product, Technology, and Client Services to deliver policy solutions for institutional investors.

This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Amsterdam, requiring strategic leadership, strong communication, and a track record in governance, financial services, or institutional investing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading teams in policy, product, operations or service delivery.
• Strong ability to partner with Product/Engineering to launch tools and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities globally.
• Demonstrated cross-functional influence without direct authority.
• Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of client policy professionals with a culture of excellence.
• Define team structure, roles and capacity for growth.
• Set performance expectations and provide coaching and development.
• Escalate complex client policy matters and guide the team.
• Partner with Product and Technology to design tools and workflows.
• Translate client needs into product requirements and roadmap input.
• Identify gaps in tooling and drive automation and efficiency.
• Operate with ambiguity and drive roadmap execution.
