Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist for Trust & Safety to drive continuous improvement across global teams, including Amsterdam and partner sites, with a focus on safety, trust, and scalable efficiency.

You will lead data‑driven Lean Six Sigma projects, translate complex insights into clear actions, partner with Analysts, PMs, Policy, Legal, and Training, and shape change Management plans to ensure durable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end process improvement initiatives across global Trust & Safety teams.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety Analysts, Project Managers, (Technical) Product Managers, Policy, Legal, and Training to deliver structured recommendations.
• Translate local and central feedback into prioritized user stories and actionable process improvements.
• Design, coordinate and evaluate pilots for new operational processes, workflows, tooling and automation using data-driven insights.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and root-cause analysis to drive pragmatic improvements.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with operational teams and broader Operational Excellence teams.
• Design clear change-management and communication plans to ensure smooth implementation of new processes.
• Provide transparent, data-driven updates to senior leadership with actionable insights.
