Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Director of Central Tech and SSF Risk Operations in Amsterdam to lead risk management across Cyber, Fraud, Privacy, and Physical Security domains. You will drive governance, risk assessment, and policy initiatives while partnering with engineering and finance to strengthen the company’s security posture.

The role requires a senior, strategic leader capable of translating technical risk to non-technical audiences and delivering measurable improvements in risk controls

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security or Fraud with leadership.
• Proven ability to influence executives and the board.
• Familiar with cloud-based security frameworks and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management across Central Tech and SSF risk domains.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and GRC frameworks.
• Communicate risk posture to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with finance and engineering to embed risk management.
