Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands seeks a Category Buyer in Technology to drive global sourcing, collaborating with local Netherlands teams to implement the firm’s technology procurement strategy. You will manage procurement across infrastructure, cloud, and software and work with category managers to execute sourcing plans.

The role requires strong commercial and communication skills, fluent Dutch and English, and experience in professional services procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree (commercial/financial preferred).
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in NPR related purchase activities or professional services.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Ariba knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; NEVI/CIPS encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Execute and organise procurement processes to standardise purchasing strategies.
• Support procurement projects focusing on process, time, and budget.
• Conduct procurement activities across technology requirements for global ops.
• Translate procurement strategy into effective sourcing execution with quality control.
• Contribute to category strategy and CSR initiatives.
• Perform spend analyses and rationalise supplier base.
• Manage contracts and evaluate suppliers with team members.
