Job summary

Arvato in Heijen, Limburg, is seeking a proactive Category Buyer to optimize indirect procurement and build strategic supplier partnerships in a fast-growing, international logistics environment. You will work with Procurement, Operations, Finance and Legal to drive procurement excellence and business growth within a high-tech logistics center.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, leading RFQs, negotiating contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience with supplier management and sourcing processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong Excel skills and affinity with procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Lead RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and procurement optimizations.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships.
• Support procurement transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
