Fitura is recruiting a Strategic Project Buyer for a market-leading client in Eindhoven. You will manage indirect spend (HR, FM, Consultancy) and translate business needs into robust procurement strategies within an international setting.
You will drive EU tendering, steer supplier selection, and ensure compliant contracts while building strong internal/external partnerships, helping to professionalize the procurement function within a 16-person team.
As a Strategic Project Buyer within the Supply Chain Management team of Digital & Technology Transformation, you play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition by managing indirect spend portfolios (such as HR, Facilities Management, and Consultancy). Operating in an international environment, you translate internal business needs into robust procurement strategies, manage complex European tendering processes, and build sustainable supplier relationships.
Spend Portfolio Management: Take full ownership of a specific segment of indirect spend and execute end-to-end procurement activities aligned with European regulations and internal policies.
Strategy Formulation & Execution: Develop widely supported purchasing strategies, organize requirements-gathering workshops with internal stakeholders, and translate them into effective contracts.
Supplier Selection & Tendering: Drive supplier selection and award processes, guiding business units through the preparation and execution of tenders.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal business units and external suppliers, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high stakeholder satisfaction.
Process Professionalization: Actively contribute to knowledge exchange within a 16-person team of IT and indirect buyers, helping professionalize the procurement function.
Executed procurement strategies and compliant tender dossiers for indirect spend categories.
Well-negotiated, high-quality contracts and service-level agreements.
Facilitated stakeholder workshops and structured supplier relationship maps.
Experience: Proven professional background in formulating procurement strategies, managing supplier selection processes, and navigating EU public procurement legislation.
Domain Affinity: Strong affinity with indirect procurement (HR, FM, Consultancy) and familiarity with contract/construction law (bouwrecht) as a nice-to-have.
Core Competencies: Exceptional workshop facilitation skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex procurement frameworks into practical organizational applications.
