Job summary

NTS Eindhoven is seeking a Project Buyer to drive procurement within challenging (customer) projects and align processes with project objectives. You will collaborate with project managers, commodity buyers and SQEs, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

The role focuses on supplier selection, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely material availability while optimizing costs via TCO. This is a hybrid role in a high-tech environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a procurement role.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Navision).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and approving suppliers based on customer requirements and relevant commodity strategies.
• Negotiating project packages (QLTC-wide) and monitoring the CPR roadmap.
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies in collaboration with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Ensuring the timely availability of materials by placing and tracking project-related orders.
• Optimizing procurement costs based on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principle.
