Job summary

Demcon is seeking a technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to work on high‑quality ventilation modules used in medical systems worldwide. You will act as the technical link between customers, production and engineering, performing analysis, support, documentation and product improvements.

You will switch between troubleshooting, root-cause analyses and on-site or remote technical support, with monthly visits to the Enschede site to drive assembly improvements and process changes.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a relevant technical education (MBO/HBO) in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong interest in electronics, sensor technology and technical systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and technical analysis.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and repair ventilation modules that are malfunctioning, from customers or production.
• Perform root-cause analyses and document findings in service/quality records.
• Provide international customer support and assist with integration in customers' systems.
• Offer remote and on-site technical support.
• Assist production with technical problems and quality issues.
• Initiate and implement improvements to products, test methods and production processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and test setups.
• Design, build and maintain test fixtures and measuring equipment.
• Carry out verification, validation and endurance tests on products and subsystems.
• Support during product changes and roll-out to production and customers.
• Monthly visits to the Enschede production site to meet staff and implement process improvements.
