Job summary

Siemens Cranes Project House in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Technical Account Manager to translate complex automation challenges into clear, valuable solutions for customers worldwide.

You join a Netherlands-based sales team and act as the technical and commercial bridge between customers, sales and engineering experts. Travel approx. 20% internationally, with regular intercontinental trips lasting about one week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics engineering or closely related field.
• At least five years of B2B technical account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical automation systems.
• Experience in crane/port or heavy-industry automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex customer challenges into technically sound and commercially attractive solution concepts with sales and engineering colleagues.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and support contract negotiations with management and stakeholders.
• Build and expand trusted relationships with management teams, technical experts, OEMs and end users in the global crane industry.
• Support the sales organization in achieving targets and developing opportunities.
• Analyze markets, customer needs, technology trends and competing portfolios to identify strategic opportunities.
• Develop business plans and maintain accurate opportunity reporting in CRM systems.
