Job summary

C-Job Naval Architects is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to guide the structural design of vessels and floating structures from Hoofddorp. You will define project plans, applicable standards, scope, planning, risk analysis and budgeting to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, independent working style, and excellent English communication, with Dutch as a bonus. You will work in a hybrid setup with an international team and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of marine engineering experience.
• HBO/WO or equivalent in marine technology.
• Experience with FEA; Ansys is a plus.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent English communication; Dutch is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team to deliver high-quality structural designs for vessels.
• Develop project plans, standards, scope, planning, risk analysis and budget.
• Coordinate with PM and clients; manage hours and progress reports.
• Ensure designs meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Foster collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.
