Job summary

JBT Marel in Eindhoven is seeking an experienced Strategic Purchaser to shape and strengthen our procurement organization. You will lead category strategies, manage key supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to support business objectives and operational excellence.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams, analyze market trends, and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement across supplier portfolios.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Experience with supplier performance management and negotiations.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships as a strategic partner.
• Lead contract negotiations and secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions.
• Support new product introductions from a procurement perspective.
• Drive supplier performance management through structured reviews.
