Job summary

JBT Marel in the Netherlands is seeking a Procurement Specialist to combine day‑to‑day purchasing with outsourcing projects across Europe. You will manage your own supplier portfolio, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of parts, assemblies and outsourced production activities.

With 3+ years in Purchasing/Procurement and proficiency in Dutch and English, you will work in a hybrid setup with international suppliers and a collaborative, growth‑minded team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Dutch and English language proficiency.
• Manufacturing or machine-building experience is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and follow up with supplier confirmations.
• Monitor delivery schedules and supplier performance.
• Maintain supplier and item master data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate outsourcing of assemblies and outsourced production activities.
• Support supplier evaluations and quality follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with Outsourcing Engineers on supplier development.
