Job summary

SIDN in partnership with CIRA is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to unite engineering teams across the Netherlands and Canada to build the Hello Registry Platform, a secure, scalable SaaS for registry operators worldwide.

You will set the technical strategy, lead ~10 engineers, and collaborate with product management to ensure delivery, governance, and cross-organisational alignment, reporting to the Hello Registry Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level working and reasoning ability.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a software engineering management role.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps and modern software development methods.
• Experience with cloud-native software development and SaaS platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical strategy and roadmap for Hello Registry.
• Ensure quality, security and reliability of the platform.
• Set up a scalable engineering organisation.
• Develop teams, roles and capabilities across two countries.
• Lead ~10 engineers and foster ownership and collaboration.
• Translate the roadmap into predictable delivery and continuous improvement.
