Job summary

Oxford Nanopore Technologies seeks an experienced Director of Sales & Customer Care Training to design and lead scalable learning programs across regions, improving onboarding, certification and sales capability.

You will collaborate with Strategic Marketing, Product Management and Technical Services to translate science and product strategy into practical training assets, ensuring readiness and measurable impact in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or equivalent.
• Extensive commercial life sciences experience including sales, marketing, technical or training roles.
• Experience leading global capability, transformation or launch-readiness programmes in a matrix organisation.
• Ability to translate complex scientific content into effective commercial training.
• Experience developing competency frameworks, certification and measurable learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Set global sales and customer care training strategy and operating plan.
• Lead governance for training readiness and product launches; coordinate resources.
• Develop e-learning, onboarding, upskilling and certification programs for Sales and Customer Care.
• Define competency frameworks and ensure training content meets regulatory requirements.
• Measure readiness, adoption and impact; report progress to senior leadership.
