Job summary

GEA Group in ’s-Hertogenbosch seeks an International Field Service Engineer to service refrigeration installations on site and on ships, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning support for service projects.

You will work with multinational factories across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, while adhering to safety rules and contributing to team knowledge sharing. English skills are required.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3/4 technical training is required.
• F-gases certification is required.
• Good understanding of refrigeration processes is required.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and P&IDs.
• Flexible attitude to working hours.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and maintenance work independently or in a team per instructions.
• Diagnose malfunctions, consult with customer and service coordinator to determine causes.
• Maintain accurate digital records of work and parts orders.
• Work in line with GEA safety requirements and customer safety rules.
• Advise on upgrades and prevention of malfunctions to keep installations running.
• Support the technical development of colleagues.
