As a Field Service Engineer – Cooling, you are responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cooling and refrigeration systems. You work independently at customer sites and ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation of HVAC and refrigeration installations.
Your Responsibilities
- Commissioning and start-up of cooling installations
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of cooling and refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site
- Working with chillers, DX systems, heat pumps, and commercial refrigeration
- Performing leak detection and maintaining F-Gas documentation
- Upgrading software/firmware and checking system performance
- Advising customers on correct use, optimization, and energy efficiency
- Completing service reports and administrative documentation
- Participating in on-call duty (approx. once every 4–6 weeks)
Your Profile
- MBO level 3 or 4 in refrigeration technology or mechanical engineering
- Experience in cooling / refrigeration systems (HVAC)
- F-Gas Category I certification (mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls
- Customer-oriented and able to work independently
- Willing to learn and develop technically
- Valid Category B driving license
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English
