Job summary

Unilever in Rotterdam seeks a Procurement Director - Real Estate to define and deliver the global procurement strategy for real estate, facilities management, and workplace services. You will shape sourcing and supplier strategies that optimise cost, capital and risk while driving value for the business, employees and operations.

The role leads a global team and partners with Finance, Legal, HR, IT and external partners to enable integrated workplace solutions that support business priorities

Qualifications

• Extensive senior procurement and/or corporate real-estate leadership experience across multinational organisations.
• Proven experience defining and delivering real-estate strategy, transactions, facilities-management and workplace-services sourcing.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen across occupancy costs, benchmarking and investments.
• Capability to lead third-party provider performance through governance and outcome-based relationships.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and reporting in a global matrix.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Real Estate Procurement organisation of four FTEs, including this Director role, with three Managers reporting directly.
• Drive portfolio optimisation via demand, market intelligence, location strategy and lease optimisation.
• Set commercial standards for leases, renewals, acquisitions and disposals with benchmarking and risk analysis.
• Define global service standards and governance for facilities-management and workplace providers.
• Build ecosystems of advisers, landlords and partners to unlock innovation and value opportunities.
• Deliver multi-year value creation programmes balancing cost, employee experience and resilience.
