Job summary

Verisign in the Netherlands seeks a Government Relations & Public Policy Manager to develop and implement strategies shaping internet governance, DNS policy, cybersecurity, data privacy, and cross-border data flows in Europe and the UK.

You will monitor regulatory developments, engage with policymakers and industry groups, and advise internal teams on policy risk and opportunities, traveling as needed to Brussels and other locations.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with Public Policy.
• 5 years related experiences in Regulatory Affairs, or Internet Governance in engagement with European governments and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Makes Verisign's views known to legislators and regulators and participates in government forums and industry meetings.
• Gathers intelligence, analyzes global regulatory issues, and advises internal teams on strategy.
• Prepares policy briefings, reports and analyses on developments with potential impact on company interests.
• Supports policy priorities through associations, government groups and cross-border collaboration.
