Job summary

L'Oréal Nederland is seeking a Data Protection Officer in Hoofddorp, North Holland, to lead privacy strategy across the Benelux region, safeguarding consumers, employees, and partners. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in privacy law, preferably within a large firm or company operating globally.
• 3+ years experience in international commercial contract/IP law or litigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data protection strategy across the Benelux region to safeguard consumers, employees, and partners.
• Governance & Strategy: Implement the Group Data Privacy program and lead the local Privacy Committee.
• Advisory & Compliance: Embed Privacy by Design in digital, AI, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Contractual & Regulatory: Draft and negotiate data clauses and cooperate with local Supervisory Authorities.
