Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a European Public Policy Manager to be based in Amsterdam or Brussels. You will monitor EU and national legislation impacting data center development, power procurement, and digital infrastructure, and translate complex policy into actionable guidance for internal teams.

You will develop and execute EU and national policy strategies, represent the company in policy committees, engage with lawmakers and regulators, coordinate across markets, and manage external advisers.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in EU policy, public affairs or regulatory affairs.
• Strong command of EU legislative processes and Brussels dynamics.
• Familiarity with Energy Efficiency Directive, AI Act, Data Act, European Green Deal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; can translate policy to business audiences.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law, European Studies or Public Policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EU and national legislation affecting data center development, power procurement and digital infrastructure.
• Develop and execute EU and national policy strategies aligning with business priorities.
• Represent EdgeConneX in policy committees and regulatory bodies across Europe.
• Engage with lawmakers, regulators, and EU institutions at national and EU levels.
• Coordinate policy work with Development, Energy Procurement, Engineering, Public Affairs, Marketing and Sustainability teams across markets.
