Job summary

FairPlay Engineering is seeking a Proposal Engineer to translate complex client questions into feasible, competitive solutions across Power Conversion, Electrical and Instrumentation, and Control and Automation.

You will work with Sales, Procurement, and engineers to develop technically sound and commercially viable proposals, with international travel as needed and a relocation package to the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical inside sales or proposal role.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical/control/automation.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Analyse technical specs and client requests to define requirements.
• Determine proposal strategy with Sales Manager.
• Develop technically sound and commercially competitive concepts.
• Coordinate with engineers and suppliers to integrate inputs.
• Integrate multiple disciplines into a deliverable solution.
• Prepare proposals, cost calculations, and budgets.

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant technical discipline
