Job summary

Van Oord seeks a Legal Counsel International Projects to partner with the Ocean Health growth agenda. You provide practical, commercially sound legal advice across the full business cycle, from opportunities and tenders to project execution and new business models.

You’ll spend about one third in Offshore Energy, one third in Dredging and Infrastructure, and one third supporting Ocean Health. You will draft and negotiate contracts, create templates and guidance, and build robust structures for

Qualifications

• Strong legal and contractual expertise in environmental and infrastructure matters.
• Experience advising on commercial contracts in international environments.
• Projects and business development experience with multi-party projects.
• Ability to build trust and communicate complex legal topics clearly.
• Experience creating templates, standard contracts and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support Ocean Health projects and tenders with legal advice and risk assessment.
• Develop and improve templates, standard contracts and guidance for Ocean Health.
• Connect legal expertise with business needs across Van Oord.
• Conduct early legal risk screening and integrate regulatory considerations.
