Job summary

Van Oord seeks a senior legal counsel to provide specialist maritime and offshore legal support across offshore energy activities—from development and tender through execution and operations.

You will draft, review and negotiate charterparties, marine services contracts and related agreements; advise on risk allocation, insurance (P&I, H&M) and regulatory compliance; and collaborate with project teams, procurement and risk management.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with maritime law expertise.
• Experience in charterparties, marine services contracts and offshore vessel operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist legal support across maritime and offshore contracts and risk.
• Draft, review and negotiate charterparties, transport & installation contracts, and related agreements.
• Advise on risk allocation, insurance matters (P&I, hull & machinery) and regulatory compliance.
• Support offshore safety and environmental regulatory frameworks within construction, transport and maintenance projects.
