Job summary

PUM is seeking a Programme Manager for Field Crops and Beekeeping to lead the field crops and beekeeping programme, translating client needs into clear project proposals and matching clients with expert volunteers.

You will shape programme strategies, secure funding, engage Dutch agribusiness networks, and manage data to deliver lasting impact across international partnerships, while promoting diversity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s working and thinking level.
• 10 years of professional experience with field crops and/or beekeeping, with a strong agribusiness network in the Netherlands.
• Experience with SMEs and basic business management processes.
• Background in programme management and team leadership; experience with volunteers is a plus.
• International experience in one or more of PUM’s focus regions is advantageous.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French preferred; Spanish is an advantage.
• Available for 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE).

• Translate client requests into actionable project proposals with a strong match to expert skills.
• Develop programme plans to strengthen sustainable agribusiness ecosystems and partnerships.
• Identify, develop and secure funding opportunities from donors and partners.
• Monitor programme developments and anticipate future demand.
• Be an ambassador for diversity and build an inclusive expert community.
• Manage programme data and knowledge to maximise impact.
• Coordinate project planning and support strategic partnerships mapping.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies across projects.
