Job summary

PUM is seeking a Programme Manager Horticulture in The Hague to lead the horticulture programme, translating client requests into project proposals and matching them with skilled experts. You’ll collaborate with in-country managers, drive strategy, build partnerships, and ensure lasting impact while coordinating data and ensuring compliance.

You bring a strong horticulture background, a business network in NL, and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong horticulture or related domain.
• 10 years of professional experience in horticulture and SME networks.
• Experience in programme management and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requests and match needs with expert skills.
• Translate client needs into actionable project proposals.
• Develop programme plans and nurture partnerships for growth.
• Identify and secure funding from donors and partners.
• Monitor progress, anticipate demand, position experts accordingly.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive expert community with strong networks.
• Manage programme data and share insights across projects.
• Coordinate project planning and support strategic partnerships.
