Job summary

Kipp & Zonen in Delft is seeking a Global Program Manager to lead select new product development initiatives and own the global sustaining program. Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
• 7+ years in product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience managing product development projects.
• Experience leading projects from concept to launch, preferably in engineering-focused environments.
• Experience with prioritization and execution of small non-NPD projects.
• Experience working with external development partners.
• Knowledge of new product development methodologies and project management tools.
• PMP certification is a plus.

The opportunity:

Reporting into the Director of Project Management Office (PMO), you will lead select new product development (NPD) initiatives while owning the global sustaining program. You will drive projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring cross-functional alignment, proactive risk management, and on-time milestone delivery, while maintaining and continuously improving sustaining program performance.

This role is based in Delft, where our factory and production operations are located. It is a full-time, onsite position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

As a Global Program Manager, you will:

• Lead product development initiatives and the sustaining program: Oversee projects that deliver on quality, cost, and timeline goals.
• Own project planning: Create and manage detailed schedules, resources, budgets, and risk plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Own global sustaining program: Create resourcing plans and align priorities of sustaining program through the maintenance planning group.
• Collaborate and influence globally: Work with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, service, and customers, to bring innovative solutions to market.
• Manage change: Proactively address challenges, manage stakeholder communication, and implement effective change control processes.
• Champion operational excellence: Use tools like Visual Project Management, critical chain planning, and risk analysis to drive results.
• Drive communication: Serve as the primary link between R&D and other departments, keeping stakeholders—from individual contributors to senior leaders—informed.
• Support technical reviews: Facilitate design and phase-gate reviews for products across mechanical, electrical, software, and chemical systems.

Essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
• 7+ years in product development, engineering, or manufacturing, with at least 3 years of experience managing product development projects.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept to launch, preferably in engineering-focused environments.
• Proven experience with prioritization and execution of small non-NPD projects.
• Experience working with external development partners
• Knowledge of new product development methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP certification is a plus!
