Job summary

Certhon leads high-tech greenhouse and indoor farming projects worldwide, delivering them from sale through final handover. As Project Manager you oversee planning, progress, and on-time execution, coordinating engineers, installation crews and logistics, while serving as the main customer contact throughout the lifecycle.

You’ll work with subcontractors and site supervisors, manage budgets, and ensure HSE adherence on diverse international sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture sector or related industry.
• Strong organizational skills and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to maintain an overview and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to project sites domestically and abroad.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Manager at Certhon, you play a key role in delivering high-tech greenhouses and indoor farms around the world. From the moment a project is sold until final handover, you are responsible for overseeing its successful execution. You develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure that all activities are completed on time and according to schedule.

You lead multidisciplinary project teams consisting of engineers, installation crews, and logistics staff. In addition, you coordinate closely with subcontractors, site supervisors, and other external partners. As Project Manager, you are also the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Monitoring and coordinating project schedules and quality standars;
• Organizing and leading construction and project meetings;
• Preparing and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plan;
• Coordinating transportation and workforce requirements;
• Monitoring the project budget, procurement activities, and payment agreements.

Who are you?

• Experience in and affinity with the horticulture sector or a related industry is a plus;
• Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
• You work accurately, maintain a clear overview, and can effectively manage multiple stakeholders;
• You enjoy traveling to project sites, both in the Netherlands and abroad;
• You don't mind answering a business call or message outside office hours to help keep projects moving forward;
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
