Job summary

FrieslandCampina seeks an Engineering expert-process solutions specialist in Amersfoort to lead global CapEx projects, translating business needs into fit-for-purpose process installations. You will own engineering deliverables across product processing, filling, and packaging, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, standardization, and driving improvements across sites and regions, with international travel where needed.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree preferred.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Broad experience in engineering design of production installations across process technology.
• Strong knowledge in filling & packaging technologies such as aseptic filling, form-fill-seal, cartoning, palletizing.
• CapEx project experience in a large multinational or engineering/consulting firm.
• Hands-on experience in production/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Vision: global ambassador and owner of technical specs for production installations across CapEx projects worldwide.
• Continuous improvement: challenge and improve engineering designs; drive standardization and a feedback-to-design loop.
• Ecosystem development: build network of internal/external stakeholders; promote knowledge sharing across sites and regions.
• Own the Outcome: lead processing scope of large CapEx projects; own engineering deliverables and support investment decisions.
• Your place in the team: report to Manager of Engineering Experts; elevate engineering quality and set standards; authority from expertise.
