Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a pricing professional to lead and refine global pricing strategies across a broad item portfolio. The role requires strong numerical and analytical abilities, fluency in English, and capability to understand technical products, with optional Dutch or Finnish language skills.

You will work from Amsterdam or Tampere, collaborating with sourcing and global pricing teams. Occasional international travel is expected, and proficiency in Excel and PowerBI is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, science, finance or business.
• Capability to understand or learn about technical products.
• Commercial thinking and understanding of pricing impact.
• Strong numerical and calculation skills.
• Experience in pricing is a plus, but not necessary.
• Experience in sales strategy, commercial excellence and/or GTM strategies is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is critical.
• PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in Dutch or Finnish is nice to have.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well-developed stakeholder management ability.
• Assertiveness, honesty and integrity.
• Good judgement and strong values.
• High regard for safety and ability to promote a safe and healthy workplace.
• CV must be submitted in English.

Responsibilities

• Set prices for new items based on data and analyses.
• Monitor margins to maintain global pricing and profitability standards.
• Analyse price levels and margins for over 100,000 portfolio items.
• Develop, implement and maintain global pricing strategies and policies.
• Collaborate with global pricing colleagues to align the global pricing structure.
• Handle market feedback and pricing requests.
• Liaise with sourcing regarding cost changes.
• Set up and maintain pricing value drivers.
• Use pricing software to set or update global prices.
• Report to the Global Pricing Manager.
• Work from Tampere, Finland or Amsterdam, Netherlands.
• Travel internationally occasionally.
