Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam offers an internship in Marketing & Performance focusing on global PR and brand awareness. You will join the Global Communications team for 5–6 months, starting February 2027, and work 40 hours per week in a dynamic, international environment.

You will learn to develop PR strategies, support agencies and freelancers in Europe, and gain hands-on experience with press materials and media monitoring. This role is aimed at an ambitious student seeking real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or Master student in marketing, communications or public relations.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.
• Experience in brand communication, social media or influencer management.
• Based in Amsterdam or nearby.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Enrollment in an EU university for the entire internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Support core communications team in developing global PR strategies.
• Collaborate with local teams, PR agencies & freelancers across Europe.
• Assist in creating and executing PR and brand activation plans.
• Create and manage a media database.
• Handle daily PR inquiries.
• Assist in drafting press releases.
• Assist in managing The Social Hub's Newsroom.
• Conduct market research on culture, trends and audiences.
• Help organise media & PR events.
• Monitor media and report results weekly, monthly and quarterly.
