Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking a PR & Communications intern to join our Global Communications team in Amsterdam for a 5-6 month period starting February 2027. You will support the core communications team in developing strategic PR plans across corporate and lifestyle spaces, and collaborate with local teams and agencies across Europe.

You will gain hands-on experience drafting press releases, managing media contacts, and assisting with media events while growing your English communication skills in

Qualifications

• Enrolled as Bachelor or Master student in marketing, communications or public relations.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.
• Based in Amsterdam or nearby.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn from and support the core communications team on global PR strategies across corporate and lifestyle spaces.
• Collaborate with local teams, PR agencies and freelancers across Europe to execute PR strategy.
• Assist in creating and executing PR and brand activation plans.
• Create, research and manage a media database.
• Handle daily PR inquiries.
• Support drafting press releases.
• Assist in managing The Social Hub's Newsroom (press information centre).
• Conduct market research on culture, trends for key audiences to inform plans.
• Help organize media and PR events.
• Monitor media daily and report press results weekly, monthly and quarterly to stakeholders.
