Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking a Social Media Intern to support how our brand shows up across digital platforms in 21 locations. You will assist in planning, publishing, monitoring, and analyzing content while staying on tone and style across channels.

We’re looking for someone currently enrolled as a student, with a passion for social media, marketing, and creative design using Canva and CapCut. This internship runs for 5–6 months starting in February, based in our Amsterdam Hub.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a bachelor in Media, Communication or related field.
• Experience in social media and/or marketing.
• Interest in creative design and using Canva and CapCut.
• You understand the language of TikTok and you might have created a TikTok or two in the past.
• Knowledge of social business accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Experience with social media analytics and content management is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• You are proactive and good at meeting deadlines.
• You have to be currently enrolled as a student.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager, helping to keep our social channels running smoothly.
• Assist in planning and publishing content across platforms using our social media management tools or native channels.
• Monitor our channels daily, respond to comments and DMs, and engage with our audience in line with our tone of voice.
• Keep an eye out for user-generated content and relevant conversations.
• Help co-create and maintain content calendars across different products and local channels, ensuring consistency and relevance.
• Support in pulling monthly performance data, identifying key insights, and sharing what audiences think about our brand.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Stay up to date with platform developments (especially TikTok) and bring fresh, relevant observations to the team.
