Job summary

JDE Peets in Amsterdam is seeking a Global Perfect Store Excellence Manager to lead development and continuous improvement of the global Perfect Store ecosystem across offline and online channels.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years in Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Sales, Commercial Excellence, or related function.
• Strong expertise in Perfect Store and in-store excellence with scalable improvements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and international projects without formal authority.
• Experience with planogram solutions, retail execution analytics, POSM development, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation skills, and pragmatic, results-driven approach.
• International mindset with passion for building capabilities across markets.

Job description

As the Global Perfect Store Excellence Manager, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of JDE Peets global Perfect Store ecosystem, enabling best-in-class execution across physical and digital retail environments. Working within the Global Sales Analytics & Category Management team, you will translate category and brand strategies into scalable execution standards that drive commercial excellence across more than 40 markets. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams and local market stakeholders to build governance, capabilities, and tools that improve execution consistency and shopper impact. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management, community leadership, and the ability to influence without direct authority. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how our brands win at the point of purchase on a global scale.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the global Perfect Store strategy by developing scalable frameworks, execution standards, KPIs, and governance across offline and online channels.
• Drive excellence in retail execution by leading global initiatives across planograms, point-of-sale materials (POSM), display standards, secondary retail packaging (SRP), and Master Stock List (MSL) methodologies.
• Build and continuously improve global tools, processes, and best practices that enable consistent execution and measurable commercial impact across markets.
• Lead and grow a global community of Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Sales teams through capability building, best practice sharing, training sessions, and engagement events.
• Partner closely with cross-functional global functions including Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Procurement, IT, and local commercial teams to ensure successful adoption of Perfect Store initiatives.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and champion continuous innovation to strengthen retail execution excellence globally.

For this role as Global Perfect Store Excellence Manager, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• 6-10+ years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Sales, Commercial Excellence, or a related commercial function.
• Strong expertise in Perfect Store, retail execution, category management, or in-store excellence frameworks, with experience delivering execution improvements at scale.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and international projects while influencing diverse stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience with planogram solutions, retail execution analytics, POSM development, or similar commercial execution tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills, combined with a structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach.
• International mindset with a passion for building capabilities, leading communities, and driving continuous improvement across multiple markets.
