Job summary

Koninklijke Vopak N.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Global OT Solutions Director to shape a future-proof OT strategy, own product lifecycles, and lead global teams. The role drives OT governance, security standards, and cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.

You will report to senior leadership, bridge global strategy with local execution, and work in a hybrid arrangement that supports flexible, high-impact delivery. A strong background in OT/IT and process safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field, IT, Automation, or equivalent.
• 5-10+ years of OT/IT experience in terminal operations or process industries.
• Hands-on with DCS, MES, IIoT, sensors and scheduling packages.
• Strong knowledge of process safety concepts (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL).
• Familiar with ISA-88/ISA-95 and ISO 27001 information security.
• Experience in leading application development and deployments (Agile/Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global OT strategy for safe, compliant terminal ops.
• Own the Vopak Edge Platform and Terminal Automation lifecycles and roadmaps.
• Drive global vendor relationships and OT security standards.
• Bridge global strategy with local execution across business units.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and SHEQ on process safety matters.
• Serve as SME and trusted partner across the enterprise.
