Job summary

Van Oord is looking for an Offshore Crane Operator to manage safe and effective crane operations on various offshore projects worldwide. You'll be responsible for lifting operations, drafting lifting plans, and conducting maintenance on cranes while working closely with your team to ensure a safe environment.

This role requires flexibility to work internationally and a strong technical insight into crane operations, particularly with cranes over 100 t. A robust working atmosphere and professional development opportunities are at the heart of our organization.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience with cranes of at least 100 t, preferably in offshore or civil engineering.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing cranes, including hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate lifting cranes (100-1400 t, including crawler and offshore cranes).
• Draft and execute lifting plans.
• Ensure a safe working environment on and around the crane.

Skills

Flexible and willing to work internationally

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Technical insight and experience with hydraulic systems

Education

Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 certificate
