Job summary

Booking.com in Amsterdam seeks a Global Mobility Specialist to manage employee relocations and assignments worldwide, ensuring an outstanding onboarding experience.

You will own end-to-end relocation processes, liaise with HR, payroll, immigration, housing and schools, and collaborate with external vendors to deliver compliant, efficient moves.

The role requires empathy, strong problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple moving parts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for relocators, internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Works independently within established policies and prioritizes workflows to achieve compliance with costs, time and outcomes.
• Advises management about alternatives in case of conflicts and coordinates with Mobility Advisors to create acceptable solutions.
• Provide global mobility information and advice to other functional teams.
• Responsible for all aspects of the employee's global move, coordinating support with vendors.
• Ask the right questions and obtain the right information to avoid compliance issues and enable speedy implementation.
• Balance immediate implementation with long-term impact and risk (immigration and tax).
• Advising on and overseeing immigration, tax support, flights, accommodation, schooling and family support services.
• Know when to connect with other teams and when to escalate issues.
• Ensure deliverables are compliant with legislation and departmental standards.
• Develop and keep GM information/training materials updated and available.
