Job summary

Hotelprofessionals - Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is seeking an experienced Meetings & Events Planning Manager to lead an international planning team responsible for large conferences, gala dinners and rooftop events. You will work closely with clients and hotel teams to ensure every event is planned to perfection and delivered with exceptional service while monitoring budgets and KPIs.

Fluency in English is required; a Hospitality Management degree or equivalent experience is

• Experience in Meetings & Events planning in large hotel or hospitality environments.
• Experience in leading, coaching and developing a team.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Budget management and monitoring departmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an international team of Meetings & Events Planners.
• Oversee the planning and coordination of all meetings and events, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Drive departmental performance by achieving financial targets and KPIs.
• Manage the department budget, controlling costs while maximizing productivity.
• Coach and support the team through regular feedback, training and development.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal departments to ensure successful event delivery.
• Continuously improve planning processes and maintain compliance with company, legal, health and safety standards.
