Job summary

Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is seeking a Meetings & Events Planning Manager to lead an international planning team and oversee large conferences, gala dinners, and rooftop events. You will collaborate with clients and hotel teams to ensure flawless delivery.

The role requires overseeing a 476-room property and 21 meeting spaces, with a focus on exceptional service, financial targets, and compliance. Amsterdam Sloterdijk access is convenient.

Qualifications

• Experience in meetings and events planning within a large hotel or venue.
• Proven experience leading and developing a multicultural planning team.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and KPI management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an international team of Meetings & Events Planners.
• Oversee planning and coordination of all meetings and events for guests.
• Drive departmental performance by achieving financial targets and KPIs.
• Manage the department budget and optimize costs and productivity.
• Coach and support the team with regular feedback and development.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal departments for successful delivery.
• Improve planning processes while ensuring health, safety, and legal compliance.
