Job summary

Core Laboratories in Vlaardingen, Netherlands seeks an Commercial Intelligence Analyst to support international Sales & Business Development. You will perform market and competitor analyses, prepare reports, and identify growth opportunities to drive revenue and cross-sell initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commercial Economics, International Business or related field.
• Good command of the English language in word and writing.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience within a commercial support function is an advantage.
• Experience with CRM systems, contract management or tender processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial organization in developing new business opportunities.
• Perform market, customer and competitor analyses.
• Monitor and analyse global and regional market developments, trends and commercial opportunities.
• Identify growth markets, emerging segments and potential new revenue streams.
• Translating market developments into concrete commercial opportunities and actions for Sales and Business Development.
• Perform market analyses per country, region, service and customer segment.
• Preparation of commercial intelligence reports for management.
• Providing Sales teams with targeted market, customer and competitor information.
• Supporting account plans and preparing strategic customer meetings.
• Developing target lists and concrete commercial action lists for local and regional sales teams.
• Monitor whether identified commercial opportunities are converted into sales activities, pipeline and revenue.
• Combining internal commercial data with external market information.
• Developing and maintaining commercial dashboards and management reports.
• Analysing the existing customer portfolio, revenue development and offtake patterns.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing customers.
• Identify and prioritize customer segments with high growth potential.
• Preparing commercial presentations, quotations and customer proposals.
• Benchmarking competitors on price level, service, capacity and locations, among other things.
• Drafting, processing and administering customer contracts and commercial agreements. Monitoring contract terms, terms, and renewal dates Maintaining contract administration. Coordinating and supporting tender and quotation processes.
