A software development company in Rotterdam is seeking a Junior Simulator Engineer to assist with the preparation and technical support of simulators. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of IT and hardware, an IT certification, and proficiency in English. Qualifications

• An IT certification (CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL, etc.) is required.
• Preferably experience and knowledge of the maritime industry is needed.
• Basic programming skills in Python or Arduino are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and installation of simulators worldwide.
• Handling support via phone and email for our simulators.
• Collecting feedback on customer satisfaction and usability.

Skills

Technical knowledge of computer hardware and networking

Strong communication skills in English

Affinity for hardware solutions and IT troubleshooting

Education

IT certification (CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, etc.)
