Job summary

CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician to join our Gilze en Rijen team, working on advanced flight simulation technology and a range of modern simulators and equipment. You will grow through hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical qualification: Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace/Aviation, or Computer Engineering or at least 1 year relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct problems on simulators and related systems.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on simulator systems.
• Use the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
• Run Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
• Complete required training activities.
• Assist with refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.
• Learn and comply with the CAE Compliance Management System.
• Provide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Perform logistics duties including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain simulator conditions.
• Complete administrative tasks as required.
• Support the technical services group as needed.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations in an aviation training environment.
