Job summary

CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician to join our team in Gilze en Rijen, Holland, working on advanced flight simulation technology. You will diagnose and repair simulators and related systems, perform preventive maintenance, and log activities in the maintenance system.

This role offers hands-on learning across a range of simulators, opportunities for progression within the technical function, and a safety-focused aviation training environment requiring adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

Technical qualification as stated (degree or diploma) in electrical, mechanical, aerospace/aviation, or computer engineering.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical field.
English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
Learn and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on simulator systems.
Use the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.
Run Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.
Complete required training activities.
Provide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
Perform logistics duties including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
Comply with Health and Safety regulations in an aviation training environment.
