Job summary
INSO, based in The Hague, Netherlands, is seeking a Human Resources Advisor experienced in humanitarian work to support Country Offices across West Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The role blends strategic HR thinking with hands-on execution to strengthen global HR practices.
You will partner with Country Office leadership, coach managers, drive workforce planning, ensure legal compliance, monitor HR data, and travel to offices to build capacity and support
Qualifications
- Fluent English is required.
- 3+ years advisory experience across employment lifecycle.
- Experience partnering with managers on workforce challenges.
- Knowledge of labour laws, HR compliance and donor/audit requirements.
- Ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support Country Offices in workforce and organizational planning.
- Coach managers and HR focal points in INSO policies and practices.
- Champion compliance with local labour laws and donor/audit requirements.
- Monitor data quality in HR systems and report trends and risks.
- Identify workforce risks and contribute to global HR projects and improvements.
- Support safeguarding and duty of care, collaborating with specialists.
- Visit Country Offices to provide targeted advice and capacity building.
