Job summary

Yoursafe is seeking a Head of Hardware to own the global physical infrastructure, spanning DNS datacenters, Mac mini fleets and Yoursafe Pay terminals. The role covers hardware lifecycle, uptime, firmware updates, vendor management and office IT in Amsterdam.

You will lead a senior team, drive automation, and ensure audit readiness in a regulated financial context. Occasional travel to datacenter locations within the Netherlands is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior infrastructure specialist with proven experience running physical infrastructure at scale (datacenters, networks or large device fleets).
• Technical credibility across Linux servers, switches, MacOS/Android devices and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Automation-first mindset: build self-healing pipelines and use AI tooling to reduce repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hardware lifecycle of our global DNS infra and datacenter fleet, including capacity planning and spares.
• Guard uptime with proactive monitoring and clear incident handling.
• Coordinate firmware/OS/config updates and maintenance windows across locations.
• Manage remote-hands vendors and audits for physical infrastructure.
• Own office IT and local LAN in Amsterdam, including asset tracking.
